In “Allegory of the cave” by Plato, he explains how he views society. he mentioned a few objects for example the cave, which represents people who are in ignorance believe. It shows the folly of accepting what one sees at face value without pursuing additional education and enlightenment. Plato also mentions the prisoners who are tied with chains, they only see the shadow it means that as human we only focus on the what we see in social media instead of knowing the reality (text to self connection). The chain that the prisoner’s were tied by i believe represent their fears, beliefs that is stopping them from seeing the other side.

Course Description: A course in effective essay writing and basic research techniques including use of the library. Demanding readings assigned for classroom discussion and as a basis for essay writing.
