My topic is gun laws however this is a topic a lot of people are effected by as no matter the age and ethnicity a lot of people are dragged into this topic and most of the time it’s not by their choice. In this case kids are affected by guns. My target audience that I would like to share my information to is teens and young adults as they are the ones most affected by it as they commit suicide and shootings unfortunately similarly to adults but they can be persuaded and have their minds changed in a way that can benefit our world as they still have a voice that can be shared and they are our future. I think my audience knows how dangerous guns are but they do not know the statistics of gun violence. I think their concerns would be what can they do if they’re so young and they cannot even vote or even do anything yet. However the point of my topic is to inform how guns can be changed and even if they cannot vote they can stay away

Class Meetings & Times: Mondays & Wednesdays, 4-5:40 PM, in Namm 521
Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12 – 1 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
