The specific audience I would like to speak to is politicians and hospital shareholder. They are the ones that have the biggest influence in healthcare cost in America. The reason why is because politicians have the power to regulate prices. They are the ones who have control of the law. They can enforce and establish the precedent that healthcare is a right. The reason hospitals shareholder need to hear this is because they are the reason why its so high. For years it has set to believe that there is only money in healthcare. We must regulate how much money they can make. The concern of this topic is that shareholders will get negatively affected by this new change. In turn they could lobby the government and the government will not regulate the prices of healthcare.

Class Meetings & Times: Mondays & Wednesdays, 4-5:40 PM, in Namm 521
Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12 – 1 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
