At the beginning of writing my draft, I didnât really have much to write about and I was struggling to focus on something to write about. After reading âShitty First Draftsâ, I just started writing about whatever came to my mind even if it wasnât relevant because I knew I can go back and change it. I did keep some parts of what I wrote in the beginning and some parts were deleted. It inspired me to write whatever because it didnât have to be perfect or it didnât need to have perfect grammar since it was a shitty draft. Every time I would go back Iâd fix my grammar and take some parts out. I noticed I didnât have any dialogue so I looked at where I couldâve added someone speaking. I also tried to add some parts where I described a scenario using imagery. At the end, I reread my draft to check over misspelled words and punctuation.Â
