week 8

Mr. Stapleton spoke about various types of designs that shape how stories are told to promote learning. And he said that he worked for the entertainment industry producing theatrical rides based on story, but quit due to the recycling of material that caused retardation. He said he quit and invested his talents into Simiosys an innovative technological experimental media that supports the imagination and exploration of static learning. His ideas transformed everything and everybody from museums to mentally challenged and injured people.

These transformations helped users experience higher levels of interaction, immersion, and manipulation. And where places would adopt a single view and or communication for their audience he would use challenging fabrication and applications to motivate and innovate the same learning so that users would have a better understanding and experience.

There was a sense of design that had beenĀ builtĀ upon a ideology towards education. This education and ideology expresses the ability to learn in a ever changing forever evolving way not like the recycled entertainment. These designs can be focused on physical disabilities and youth training or new technologies that innovate areas of recycled or static education.

And stories evolved because of the way users manipulated the interactions; meaning there was never a repeated and recycled message. And yet he says users can repeat their patterns based on the learning they wanted to recall.

He would first design things that had been experienced from life like ponds, with the minapulation of matter in these realities users can experience difficult subjects and recall them. These stored memories would evolve through further manipulation of the reality or subject. The representations of user interaction can be outputted on a screen in different ways. And users see the variations of manipulations, their work in progress, and the manifestation of what has been made. An example he used promotes the recalling of a brain injured person who sees a fabriaction in a 3d environment of his house indoors. And because this person has memory loss these fabrications that are cyber can help this person to recall and remember. The more the person plays in the environment the more his memory loss is canceled. And the more he changes the more he remembers of his old place, because his body has physically accepted a new way of remembering not like static photos of the past.

Stapleton has advanced the field of experimental media helping users to test there knowledge, use manipulation, interactivity, and cause and effect evaluation techniques to recall and learn new knowledge.
