We have the lily pad ardiuno and are gonna solder it onto the quadcopter and we are waiting for the arrival of the battery that we ordered last week.

Soldering is probably not the best way to attach the arduino to the quad. It is light enough and has holes drilled through it that you could use fishing line or even heavy thread (double stick tape would also likely work)
