3rd Post

I am taking a scene design class this semester, and this is a class that I have wanted to take for a long time, because I think that’s what I want to do. I really enjoy everything that has to do with arts and craft: drawing, painting, researching for a new project, building models and everything else, and that’s what this class is all about. When I first started thinking about what to do for my arduino project I wanted to do something connected to scenery, because most of the scene designers are still making stuff by hand, like models and drawings, even though 2d and 3d computer graphics are being more and more used. It would be nice to implement all this artistic skills with some sort of technology. Apparently, this is what Gillian Crampton has being doing for a while now.
“In 1989 she established the first program in interaction design at the Royal College of Art in London, to teach artists and designers to apply their traditional skills to interactive products and systems.” (http://www.designinginteractions.com/chapters/foreword)

This is her resume, very nice.

I am sorry for the lateness of this post, but I had to go away to see some family, and my luggage got lost. It was a little stressful, but I finally got it back today.
