By searching online for different applications or products in which Arduino is involved, I found a ton of interesting stuff. However, since I’m a lighting programmerĀ and technician I really got hooked by this website in which they show how Arduino is used to control LED lighting fixtures.

For me this is really interestingĀ a lot because of the fact thatĀ I might be able to develop my costume led products for any application involved in what I do to earn my leaving.

That is interesting, it would make the response time of lights to action near immediate,
If you’re a lighting guy, you should know that there’s a plethora of DMX shields available – they’re actually so common you can pick them up at Radio Shack!
Working with arduinos to me is like teaching a dog to talk. The first question I ask myself is, is there any practical use for this besides entertaining one’s curiosity or boredom? In your case the arduino can work magic, specially with people who are in the world of Installation Art. Recently in our school a professor of Photography, Anita Giraldo, had an exposition in the 11th floor. And she’s been seeking for quite sometime someone who can lit her panels in a similar fashion as the example on the image you posted. I knew you can do it with an arduino. Her Exposition Steel Ice & Stone, when from Citytech to NJ. Installation Art is everywhere from Museums, galleries, showrooms, and front displays of stores. Just a little tip in case this is something you would like to pursue in the future.
