I am personally not skilled in reading other languages but I have friends who either love Japan or are from it so they are able to read it. I went digging for some Japanese arduino/maker faire sites sense I’m really interested what they can cook up with the thing. Japan is pretty famous for pretty neat inventions and some weird ones.
The first site I ran into was the Make: Japan site which is a blog which probably have anĀ affiliationĀ to Maker Faire but I can’t be certain since my Japanese sucks. There’s literally hundreds of blogs post you can find ranging from neat hacks to invention but I haven’t seen too many general instructional posts so far.
Found this pretty cool sewing machine hack.
Not sure how it works since you know it’s written in Japanese but here’s a link
Awesome! Now I don’t have to outsource to silk screening or learn/put time into embroidery to make nice things!
I guess. From what I can tell it uses a specialized program to make the patterns. If you can use photoshop or something even simpler like MS Paint that would be pretty cool too.
