Following the last task that was given to me, this time my team wanted me to edit the footage and see if there were some imperfections that I could take out or even had some things. I have some editing knowledge, however, this is more of an educational video, which I have not worked with before. I have mostly worked with footage that had a lot of things going on and more of a fast pace. I had to slow down and check things that should not go through, this mostly related to the podcast because that was what took the most time. That is because I let the audio roll which means that it’s going to catch everything that happens and sometimes the kids start making noise in the background or there is just nothing happening and there is too much silence between the conversations.
This took some time because I had to go very slow because I did not want anything to go through especially because this was going to be shown to the public and possible donors. However, I finished editing the interview and the podcast, the process was fun but a bit tedious.
