    According to an American newspaper “DAILY NEWS” among children, those who drink more sugar sweetened soda showed some behavioral problems such as aggression. However, researches are still unable to prove that soda has caused this action problem. To measure aggregation, some parents have been asked to complete a check list of how much soda their children drink per day and how they behave and act after that. There is also another possibility that lack of blood sugar may cause kids act more aggressive. To sum up, Although connection between drinking soda and negative action may not be easy to be proved, It is a positive and significant step that will lead this study in the correct direction.

As of February, 2014 Federal Health authorities reported a 43% drop in obesity rates in children ages 2 through 5. The Article shows that pinpointing any one direct cause of this drop is simply surmising a complicated issue, however some scientist believe this drop is the beginning of a better age of people, while some others see this as too small or routine to be significant. Researcher Cynthia L. Ogden for example, cautioned that the young children make up a tiny fraction of the American population, and that the figures for the broader society had remained flat, and had even increased for women over 60. Dr. Koplan on the other hand, believes the decline is real because the findings followed many studies that detected this pattern of obesity decline in young children.

The article talks about the link between obesity and type 2 diabetes which increased since 1990’s. The disease increases with the rate of obesity. And it is said to be more severe and difficult to control in children than adults, which can increase the risks of heart problems, eye problems, kidney failure and amputations. The disease is mostly common with the poor minority. The article also states that obesity and genetic predisposition are the major causes of the disease and it can be prevented with a good diet and regular exercise which is very difficult.

This drink is killing people and making them get diseases. Coca cola must make new products to help peoples life’s.

    This article from ”Daily News” says that obesity rates still high but stable in the United States; and are declining in one particular group among children ages 2 to 5. A study shows that the obesity rate for these young children dropped from 13.9% to 8.4% between 2003 and 2013. In the same study, there are no significant changes in obesity rates in older children and adults. According to researchers more than a third of U.S. adults and 17 percent of kids and teens are obese. May, an epidemiologist in the CDC’s Obesity Prevention and Control branch in Atlanta, says there is a lot of work to do even we’re on the right track.

    In the article, “Obesity Is Found To Gain Its Hold in Earliest Years” Gina states that obesity is established during early childhood development. If you were obese or overweight very early in life, you would remain overweight throughout the rest of your life. The article focuses on children being overweight earlier rather then later because the issue begins there and the issue is resolvable much easier if dealt with earlier. It is not necessarily true when doctors say, “kids will outgrow their weight.”

Though low-income children have higher percentage of obesity than middle- and upper-income children, it tends to decrease during those years. The researchers states that the reasons of declines are probably eating healthier food and doing more exercise. This improvement can help to reduce the risk of heart disease and other chronic illnesses when children grow up.

The article states some of the reason why the obesity rate in young children is down, such as more mothers a breast feeding, children are consuming less sugary beverages, and child care programs are serving healthier foods. However the article also acknowledges that there are many things that can be done to help reduce the obesity rate and that this will be an ongoing struggle.

Places like New York, L.A , and Philadelphia have seen small but significant drops in the amount of childhood obesity. Although there is a decline in the amount of obese children , the decline is seen in mostly Caucasian children. The minority children have barely seen a change. This becomes an issue because now the families income has something to do with the weight and health of their children.
