In this section you will build your Model Course, starting with a new OpenLab Course, and adding content and organization to each section introduced in the The Model Course Structure section.

Step 1. Create a Course

To get started building your Model Course, open a new browser tab and complete the following. Then return to this guide to follow along.

  1. Login to OpenLab.
  2. Navigate to My OpenLab > Courses and click on the + Create/Clone a Course link.
  3. Follow the step-by-step process.
  4. For help creating a new OpenLab Course, follow the Help documentation for Creating a Course.

Working knowledge of OpenLab, WordPress, and the Block Editor is recommended. If you need additional guidance in building your model course, please contact the OpenLab Team for assistance.
