Final Project Proposal

The proposal for my final project is to research master programs within the field of architecture. The goal is to collect as much data as possible to provide for others that are also in limbo when it comes to deciding and finding the correct road towards a master’s degree.

Research:

– Specific category of interest: commercial, residential, landscape, urban, etc.

– Programs available at a local and out of state level

– Pros and cons of a MArch

– Insight from either a current student or alumni of a program

– Requirements to enter the program

– How to apply

– What to expect after completion

Real Estate Development

Proposal for starting a career in real estate development.

Finding investors who are interested in branching out of Manhattan and Brooklyn that want to diversify to new neighborhoods such as Queens.

Next would be to work on projects and to make the most of it to show expertise in designing and construction. To bring the neighborhoods what they need in terms of commercial, institutional, residential and office spaces.

A team needs to be created of people that can lead in specific areas of construction and design as well as real estate professionals to advertise and sell to the community.

Final Project Proposal – Avery Ferguson

For my final project, I would like to focus on a short-term plan after myself and others after we graduate. A general guideline that would give us as graduates solid directions on where we need to head towards. Things like:

– Transitional job and or career starting positions.
– Student loan payments and financial literacy plans.
– Graduates school and master’s programs plans.
– Other certificates, licenses and programs to bolster our resumes.
– Personal stress relievers and coping methods.
– Strengths and weakness.

Proposals for Final Project: Jernel W.

For the final proposal, I am interested in a few topics from my dream jobs. Although I also wanted to attempt real estate, because it’s a great trait to learn if I ever plan to flip houses in the future. That way I can be my own boss, and do what I love. Also it’s a great job that offers endless learning through experience. To start of the project I would include:

(I would start with the key components of Real Estate, and different types)

  1. What is Real Estate?
  2. What is the average salary in NY?
  3. What are the duties of Real Estate developers?
  4. What does it mean to be a Property Developer?
  5. Is there a difference between Real Estate and Property Development?
  6. What  is the meaning of Land Development?

(After that I would show the various types of career opportunities a real estate licenses can offer)

  1. What kind of Real Estate jobs require a license?
  2. What Real Estate job recommends a license?
  3. What Real Estate job requires another license?
  4. What are the other types of Real Estate jobs?

(Next I would think of it’s impact on my day to day life)

  1. What are the pros of Real Estate?
  2. What are the cons of Real Estate?

(Afterwards I would list the general requirements to becoming a real estate)

  1. Where to go to acquire a license?
  2. Is it free to obtain a Real Estate license?
  3. What kind of exam is it?
  4. What is the difference between an Agent and a Realtor?
  5.  What happens when you join a Brokerage?

(Finally I would think about what I would do once everything was finalized. My preference would be to work with houses, then I would proceed to conclude my final answer.)

  1. What are the different kinds of property types?
  2. Which one would you prefer? Why?
  3. What does Real Estate mean to you?
