The proposal for my final project is to research master programs within the field of architecture. The goal is to collect as much data as possible to provide for others that are also in limbo when it comes to deciding and finding the correct road towards a master’s degree.
Research:
– Specific category of interest: commercial, residential, landscape, urban, etc.
– Programs available at a local and out of state level
– Pros and cons of a MArch
– Insight from either a current student or alumni of a program
– Requirements to enter the program
– How to apply
– What to expect after completion

I’m with you in your topic of interest as I am still unsure about what I would like to pursue in a Masters program. I’m still undecided between Detailing and Restoration, in addition to low income Development. I might just follow your lead and create a proposal for my final project to research master programs within the field of architecture.

This is interesting and important topic for many of us i believe. Because in order to move forward with own business this would be one of the first and main steps. I was in between this topic as well. I am looking forward to learn from you and your group all about it!
A previos group did an extensive table on master’s programs. If I didn’t post it on Blackboard I will. Perhaps the type of program and eventual career would be breaking new ground. Should you go on to a master’s program? Why?
