Flower

I love how the flower is in focus and how the background is blurred. It’s my favorite picture from the feild trip. The picture really shows the detail of the flower. You can also see the webbing that came from a nearby spider.

I really like how the focus is only on the flowers and the web, but the background is totally blurred out. Also the lighting brings out the details of the flower and allows us to see the web which otherwise would have been lost in the picture.

Jonathan’s HW#4

I chose this picture because I felt in love with the backlit  light hitting the subject. The shade of light makes the flower have high contrast.

Bontanic Garden, Sandy Truong HW # 4

This Image was taken around the rose garden in the Botanic Garden. This picture stood out to me because its really focused into the flower and the back is blurred out, showing depth of field, while the plant on the back has a lot of spikes making it focus more to the flower in the middle.

Sunflower Shoot

This image was the most captivating to me, because of the lighting and how it added a dramatic look to the sunflowers. You can see how the side light  spotlight allowed light to be reflected to a portion of the flowers. The other side had a slight amount of lighting which made it dark on the inside portion. It captures all the flowers in a good angle to allow one to see all the directions they are facing. In the background you can see the black coloring, but on the right side its appears white because of the honeycomb grid. It has both light and dark features unlike what flowers usually portray when people look at them.

Pretty Maids All In a Row

The composition in this image conveys visual presentation. The Lens of the camera captured the image in an asymmetrical form, yet exuding the rule of thirds.

I chose this photo because I liked the black background, it brings out the focus in the image. Also, I see high contrast which I think stands out the most in the image.

Flower

This is the photo i took in class. I love how the light bounces from behind to capture the image. I really like how the flower is positioned and captures that dark but light look.

sunflower shoot

What i like about this picture is how you can see the water drop on the sunflower very clearly. It is a picture that has a very clear close up view. You can also see the texture and almost feel the sunflower.
