I chose this photo from our group photoshoot because I like how the light falls right on the crack. The horizontal line near the top indicates it’s a type of wooden surface, but you can almost imagine it as a vast, desert landscape. The glare of light to the horizon is a sun and its rays cast down to show the cracks forming underneath your feet. There’s enough to know what the object is, but just enough is left out to leave things to your imagination.
I like the vision of the top of this ordinary stool turned into a vast desert landscape!
