Bio

My name is Kervin Mathieu and I came to City Tech because I was looking for a major dealing with culinary. I wanted to pursue a culinary profession because I believe I am very motivated to do so. It all started with watching my mother cooking in the kitchen and ever since then the rest has been history. I’ve been cooking for myself, friends, family, and even parties. I was born in Boston, Massachusettes but my family is native to the country of Haiti. I have a number of different dishes I can prepare so I think that is one of the skills that make me very versatile. So far I would have to say my greatest accomplishment in life is graduating high school. Other interests I have are sports and music when I’m not occupied with school work or hanging out. At this point in life I believe school play a bigger role than it has ever has because it determines what you can or will be. I believe I will be doing something that has to do with culinary not only because I love it but because I’m good at it.
