” This is only the beginning, You are almost there don’t give up ” – Guidance Counselors
I had this one specific person at school that always use to keep me on my toes. Their names are MS.Haskell & Ms.Richburg. Ms.R has watched me grow up from 2nd grade up until my senior year, Ms.H has watched me grow from 9th grade. I’ve always been a person that struggled with school half my life, I never even thought about going to college. I had started high school and it was going good, going to class and doing my homework including all my classwork, until covid happened and i began to give up on school.
School finally went back to in person learning and i started off a fresh new year. I was doing good at first but even me coming to school and passing all my classes with high grades wasn’t gonna be enough. She called me to her office and she explained to me that i wasn’t gonna be able to pass due to my grades from last school year. Fast forward she ended up recommending me to night school and since then my grades have been flourishing nicely. One day an issue between me and a classmate of mine had gotten into a fight which caused me to be expelled but yet it hasn’t stopped me from giving up on school. My guidance counselors had a meeting with me about what would happen from that day and how it would affect my grades. Even though i was highly upset the last thing they said to me was that quote. I was in night school everyday working hard and it had paid off. I finally received my high school and diploma and now i am in college preparing myself to be a nurse.
I like the quote your guidance counselors made because there’s always a beginning for everything but as we advance further, everything gets harder. However, if you give up, you will never know how close are you to the finish line.
Notice that you are only telling me in a quick and on-the-surface way. You need more CSD. ALSO you need to work on sentence errors.
What is the main idea MI or the focus of your story?
Write an outline to detail the events you will include.
