Part 2 Summary

The article talks about how It’s important to take of children who are curious at a young age and how it positively impacts their academic performance. Researchers have shown that taking care of students with curious minds is an important part and an aspect overlooked as part of learning. The article also talks about how there is a decrease in children asking questions in school and this is a very detrimental effect on the children’s curiosity.

  1. Summary lacks specific points. THINK about the outline. Berliner refereed to a lot of research. So your summary needs to make note of that. Then she ended with an example of what one school is doing. Remember the outline we had on the board!
