Overview: The Print Ad Design Round 1 assignment is designed to challenge you to apply your knowledge of graphic design principles and techniques to create compelling and effective print advertisements. This assignment will enable you to demonstrate your creativity, attention to detail, and understanding of target audience engagement through visual communication.
Objectives:
- To understand the principles of effective print advertising.
- To demonstrate proficiency in graphic design software tools.
- To develop creative concepts tailored to specific target audiences.
- To effectively communicate a message or promote a product/service through visual design.
- To receive and provide constructive feedback for iterative improvement.
Assignment Details:
- Design Execution: Using industry-standard graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign), you will execute your chosen concept into a high-quality print print ad. You will carefully consider layout, typography, imagery, color scheme, and other design elements to create visually impactful ads.
- Peer Feedback: Following the presentation of Round 1 of print ad, we will participate in a peer feedback session where we will provide constructive criticism and insights to your classmates’ work. This feedback will help students refine their designs and gain valuable perspectives on their work.
- Submission: Submit your final print ad designs (8×10) in a Dropbox folder + Bring the printed Print AD in color ready to present
