Are you passionate about movie posters and have always dreamed of showcasing your artistic talent to the world? Then we have an exciting opportunity just for you! The Creative Coalition of Color, in collaboration with THE STATE of BLACK DESIGN, is thrilled to announce the 2nd annual Movie Poster Design Competition, and we want YOU to participate!
Here’s how it works:
- Sign Up: Express your interest in participating in the We The People Design Competition by registering on Eventbrite. Sign-ups are open now, so don’t miss out on securing your spot!
- Get Creative: Once you’ve signed up, you’ll receive a brief just before The State of Black Design conference. This brief will contain a description of a fictional movie along with some assets for inspiration. However, you’re not limited to using only the supplied assets – feel free to let your imagination run wild and create your masterpiece using any resources you prefer.
- Submit Your Design: We’ll provide you with the deadline for final submissions. Make sure to submit your design before the deadline to be considered for the competition.
What’s in it for you?
- Exclusive Opportunities: All entrants will gain access to a live virtual Q&A, debrief, and discussion of highlights of the work submitted. This session will be led by experts in movie marketing, providing valuable insights and feedback.
- Career Advancement: Winners will have the chance to showcase their designs to a jury of Entertainment Marketing industry leaders and agency owners. Additionally, all winners will receive a one-on-one interview with an agency and the opportunity to join an agency for a 3-month paid fellowship.
