My chosen topic is about the conflict between Palestine and Israel. So far I know that Israel was split into Arab and Jewish states, which led to the creation of Palestine, consisting of Arabs. I know that Israel and Palestine has been fighting for years now. The war has basically turned into Arab vs Israel. Hamas fighters sent rockets into Israel and now Israel has gripped on to that and using this genocide to justify what they’re doing. I want to know more about ways to help Palestine, how to stop the war, which side are countries on and so on.

2. What I KNOW about this topic is that you need to reach a certain amount of views and subscribers to get monetized on youtube which sometimes will take years, months or maybe even weeks if your lucky
3. What I WANT to know about this topic is what’s the fastest way to reach this whether it’s if you have to post videos on certain days, post everyday post at a certain time and etc.
4. What I LEARNED about this topic is that you get paid when you reach this goal not through subscribers. Subscribers are just for show and how much people support and like what you post but in order to really get paid you have to reach this goal. So you can have less then 1000 subs and still get paid thousands depending on how much views you get.
5. What I STILL WANT TO KNOW is how money you get paid per 1000 views?
Recycling in New York: does it work, or is it just a waste of time? On Sunday nights, as we put out our trash, we might wonder where it all goes. Does it end up on Staten Island? Not necessarily. Recycling factories do not accept all types of materials. How can we properly recycle, and will it help the planet? Are garbage trucks a lucrative business? What would happen if the sanitation department stopped working for a week or even months? Do restaurants recycle, and is there a punishment for not doing so? Can we recycle a dirty pizza box, or what about a laundry soap container? I used to think I knew how to recycle, but now I have so many questions. I even wonder if I should go to Staten Island to see the landfill and learn more about where all the garbage goes and what can be recycled.
We see much foresight that Manhattan will go under the water; it seems more real that New York will drawn in garbage. Does recycling help to prevent it?
My topic of research is going to be if feminism contributed to the decline of the quality of life in america. I know this sounds crazy but i always wondered this
Why do so many people drink alcohol?
I know that drinking has increased over the years. I know that a lot of people drink for stress relief. I know that some people do it because of their past. I know that drinking is bad for you. I know that drinking messes up your head.
I want to know how many people are drinking. I want to know what areas around the world is most affected by drinking. I want to know if there is any other causes for people to drink. I want to know why alcohol is so easily available even for children. I want to know how alcohol affects a person’s mind. I want to know if the government is putting liquor in certain places they know will greatly affect that area.
The thing that I learnt is that drinking has increased 70 percent from 1990 to 2017. I learnt that low-middle income countries are greatly increasing while high income countries are decreasing.
I want to know why drinking is so popular in these countries. I want to know why these high income countries are decreasing while the low is increasing.
Is immigration a problem or a benefit?
I KNOW immigration has played an important role in this country, and I think without immigrants, this country wouldn’t be one of the biggest economies in the world. But currently, massive immigration represents an issue that is affecting permanent residents one way or another.
I WANT TO KNOW what strategies the government is implementing to mitigate the impact of massive immigration and determine if it should be reduced or just regulated. Besides, I also want to know the historical background of immigration in the U.S.
From my brief research, I LEARNED that thousands of immigrants are being allowed into the country without regulation. Compared to the previous administration, the current one seems to be more permissive regarding immigration. However, the cooperation between political parties—or lack thereof—is worsening the situation. Since both parties are digging in their heels, supporting their opposite ideas, coming up with a solution looks complicated.
I STILL WANT TO KNOW how the government determines who is in or out of the country, and I want to know their reasons for allowing them. I want to know data and statistics in detail, ensuring the information provided is factual and impartial (since the media can be very alarmist and misinformation or disinformation can be spread). I also want to conclude whether my perspective is impartial or not after diving into my question.

2)What I know is social media can be a dangerous place where people can be bullied and threatened. It also causes unrealistic images which cause low self-esteem
3) I want to know more about why social media is dangerous
4) What I learned is social media leads to cyberbullying, social anxiety, depression, and exposure to content that is not age-appropriate. Social Media is also very addicting. Social media may promote negative experiences such as Inadequacy about your life or appearance. I also learned that numerous studies show that higher levels of social media use among children and adolescents are linked to adverse effects, including depression, anxiety, and inadequate sleep according to aect.org
5) I still want to know more about the negative effects of social media on people and some ways to prevent them
My topic is political corruption. I know that money is the root of corruption and it affects how so many campaigns are involved with corruption. I want to know why it’s completely intertwined with campaigns and congressional members. What I learned was many different Supreme Court decisions have allowed for corruption laws to wither down. I still want to know some statistics for how these billionaires have paid to influence lawmakers.
My research question is, What is gentrification? but, specifically what it represents in New York City.
This topic is really new to me. What i know about it, is that gentrification is something very important in the world because it affects the way in which live their lives. Also, it affects people homes, communities and cities.
I want to know, everything about gentrification but I have some questions in my head such as: Why is gentrification related to architecture? Is gentrification a good or bad thing? Why is gentrification happening ? etc.
From my little research I learn that gentrification happens when wealthy people buy land in poor or rural areas. They invest their money in the construction of new and improved buildings that provide better facilities for people. Gentrification transform poor and rural areas into urbanized cities.
I would like to know the reason if gentrification is a good or bad thing. Also I’m interesting in why people don’t used to talk about it
