Do you need something to read? You’re in luck!
On Tuesday, September 7th from 7:30-8:30 am, staff and volunteers from One Story, a Brooklyn-based literary magazine will be starting the Brooklyn Book Festival a little early by distributing free copies of the magazine in subway stations across Brooklyn. You can find Professor Bronwen Densmore from the library giving out free copies of the magazine at the Jay Street/Borough Hall station, so stop by if you’d like to snag one for yourself and say hello.
UPDATE!
Did you miss your chance to pick up a FREE story? Never fear, there are a few extra copies of One Story available at the reference desk for anyone who is interested, (just come by the library and pick one up, supplies limited) and you can always look for the authors and publishers of One Story and many other Brooklyn-based writers and publishers at the Brooklyn Book Festival this weekend.
