Our colleague Keith Muchowski wrote this post about librarian Nora E. Cordingley for the Women of Library History blog. This is the sixth year that the ALA’s Feminist Task Force has presented this series for Women’s History Month. Nora Cordingley was a librarian at the Roosevelt House in New York City and moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1943 when the Theodore Roosevelt Collection moved to Harvard. She died on March 14, 1951.
