New Calculator Loan

The library has recently received 30 advanced graphing calculators from the CUNY Office of Library Services.  They are now available for loan to currently enrolled City Tech students. Two models, TI-83 Plus and TI-89 Titanium, allow students to perform such functions as basic math, calculus, engineering, graphs, finance, matrices, and statistics.
The loan period for these calculators is one day. For more details of the calculator loan, please contact the library’s circulation desk.

Students: Come to a Workshop on Finding Articles

All students are welcome to attend a library workshop this week. Learn how to use the EBSCO databases–Academic Search Complete and others–to get full-text articles from scholarly journals and magazines on your research topic.

Students: Take the Library’s New Course

LIB1201
Learn to research more efficiently and effectively!
The Library is pleased to announce our new course: LIB 1201 – Research & Documentation for the Information Age. This 3 credit course is scheduled for Tue/Thu 10-11:15am during the Spring semester. The course is open to all students (prerequisite: ENG 1101) and may be taken to satisfy Communications Core requirements or as an elective.
