We took headshots with a black background and with a white background, and then worked with infusing an art overlay with a photo to make it look more interesting.

Learning Log #8 – PSA
I chose to do the PSA on just being true to yourself. I fiddled with the color gels and wanted to have the 3 subjects (with their respective favorite colors) making various poses, these are the ones that I settled on, though I had other good photos it would probably have worked well with.

Low Key & High Key-ish
I like the way the roll was lit a milky white, and the strong contrast on the inside of the cup. The one on the right still is somewhat low key because of the contrast from shadows — due to lighting — but I thought the subjects were more visible, and since the shadows were reduced, this can work for High Key.
Learning Log #1 – Casey Tong
I had initially taken it with rule of thirds, but then I cropped it a bit. I thought that the reflection gave an interesting feel to it and really helped set the mood of the photograph. it also has this interesting contrast of this nice white-ish color with a more like dirtier yellowish green in the reflection. The subject also loves this photo lol so that infuenced my decision.
