The photographer who’s work I chose is Jeremy Cowart. The above photo stood out to me the most because of its unique look and feel. I love that the person’s face is blocked by their hair, it add’s a sense of mystery. The color’s are not over saturated or bright. You can see use of the rule of thirds, lining the subject (the person) on the right side of the image. The two palm trees sort of act as a frame for the person. The pools rim almost looks like leading lines pointing back toward the subject. The only part of the image that doesn’t work for me is the house. It’s kind of unnecessarily placed in the frame and distracting.
