The following week I was send out to speak to classes by myself. I was at first nervous because I did not have David to fall back on. I went to the class and saw it was the same Professor that told us no last week. I did not bother me to ask one more time, but I was turned back around. I went back into the office and told David the professor had declined my offer to speak to her class.

Another Intern, Melissa, was also scared of public speaking, I let her tag along with me. While I was speaking, I started out strong. But by the middle part of my speech, I started to freeze up. The professor helped me by explaining NYPIRG and what they had to offer which made me feel better. We got a few network cards. From there on, I came back into my courageous attitude and wanted to talk more.
