I tried an app called “Meetup”. I was very confused at first on how to work it until a friend told me it’s where I could meet a group of people with a common interest. I had seen there were a lot of artist groups on there. They had paintings, figure paintings, photography and many other things that piqued my interest. I wanted to attend a figure drawing class, but I didn’t trust it at all. The event took place in someone house and it seemed very shady to say the least. I was not sure if something was going to happen to me. I didn’t feel comfortable because I knew figure drawing can have a nude model. Plus, my friends were lazy to go with me.
