I used a variety of methods while doing this documentary. During the filming I shot multiple scenes in different ways or speeds so that I would have multiple choices to choose from when I was editing . I chose to do most of my framing with over my shoulder because I liked the way it looked opposed to doing just people in front of the camera. I also made sure to be aware of where I was filming so that I knew what the lighting would be like in case I had to add more light. In editing I used skills like timing how long certain footage should be so that it would help my story flow better. I also used methods like resizing footage to be able to transition instead of using an effect. I also used skills I learned from editing like knowing when something fit and when it didn’t.
