When you first walk into the building there are a bunch of offices there for different companies and everyone dresses in suits and work attire but once you get to our floor it’s a completely different experience. When you first walk in there’s a glass door with the logo and once you walk in everything is very cleanly designed in white and greys. There’s the room where we have all the meetings that has a long table and all around the room there are designs that they have done over the years for each company, a section for birthday, a section for christmas, they even have the exact shelves that are seen in the stores of the clients they work with to properly set everything up for their meetings.

Then they have 3 little rooms where each manager is in and a big room where everyone sits in their own cubicle but it’s roomy and open, not tight. Every desk has their own computer with a trackpad and pen as well as a mouse. They also have the basic staplers and stuff but every desk is decorated differently based on how the person sitting there wants. Theres 3 big printers that everyone shares but it seems to work with all of us. There’s a kitchen in the back that is stocked with snacks, coffee, drinks and stuff. Then there’s a little light box room where they shoot the products they make and also a production room where  all the magic happens of building the products happen.

The environment at my workplace is in my opinion is casual. Everyone wears what they want but not sweatpants more on the line of casual jeans and a button down or a nice top. Depending on the time of year and how busy they get the workday changes sometimes it’s 9-5 but other times you can come in anytime from 9-11 and leave anytime from 5-8 it really varies on the day and what is happening but you are notified about this in advance. You are always allowed to take a lunch break weather you want to go out and grab lunch or eat something small at your desk the option is up to you but they are very understanding about that. Overall it’s a very comfortable environment mostly quiet everyone has their headphones on and are working. Sometimes we communicate in person but sometimes it’s just easier through email. No one is ever not doing anything there always something to do if you finish your stuff you can help someone else or even work on taking pictures for the instagram account they have. They also give you time to browse pinterest for new ideas and trends that are happening which you can talk about in the trend meetings they have.
