Hello there! My name is Joyce Chan and I have come to NYCCT to seek a bachelors degree in the hospitality management department. I currently work as a barista at Starbucks and there, I met many wonderful people who changed me into the person who I am today. Here at NYCCT, I am looking forward to an further education and knowledge in the service that is critical in the hospitality and the tourism industries. My dream is to open my own coffee shop one day. My favorite thing to do in life is being able to make my guests frown turn upside down.

If you like coffee you MUST visit Brooklyn Roasting Company. It is down the block on Jay street right near the water front. They are looking for interns all the time and are great partners with the school. Think about taking enterprise development as it will help you prepare your business plan!
