Freezing Motion

openlabima

In this image we sharpened the feet and got image blur around the face. We had the iso at 400 the aperture at f10.0 and the shutter speed is 1/250. The lighting was on the right of the model as he jumped.

freeze motion

fightingThis photo very dramatic. The movement of his arm, makes the scarf look like a shield. the lady bug ball would be his sword or weapon. The highlights of the scarf would be the best feature of this photo. Facial expression would be the key to giving the photo life! Not using fill was perfect because the background blends with his jacket.

Motion Blur

Motion Blur

This is an image taken of motion blur. The way this picture came about was tilting the camera side to side causing the picture to look like its spinning. This made the subject in the middle of the blur sharper. The aperture is 8.0 and the exposure time is 0.3 of a second.

LL8 – Freeze Motion

13603467614_597a9c5501_z

To create the frozen motion in this picture and make the ball seem like it was floating in mid-air, we released the ball from the scarf. This made the ball fall slower than the scarf moved which is why there is motion blur on the scarf but the ball is frozen. The ball becomes strong and stands out, and because of the lighting, feels very three dimensional.

freeze in motion

In this picture we freeze the water droplets. I really feel that this picture is strong because you can almost see every tiny drops clearly. and to do that the shutter speed must be fast.

Motion Capture

Power Ball

The way that we were able to accomplish this feet was multiple tries of just dropping the ball over and over again until finally we got the shot in which the ball was not that much lower than his waist.

The lighting we chose was also very tough because we had to position the lighting where there was enough light to be able to seem him, but not enough to completely illuminate the model.

motion blur

13448380394_59dc65d8eb_bi really like this picture because she looks like a ghost. in this picture you everything that is still is in focus and the model is in motion, so she looks invisible.

Creating this photo required a fast shutter speed and enough lighting on the subjects to capture the motion at the right moment.
