These are the two pictures i chose for as my examples of shallow depth. Shallow depth to me is having a image up close in focus and everything behind blur or vice versa having something in the background sharp  and having the objects in the foreground out of focus. For the first one i just took an extreme close up and the camera did the rest it blurred out the back but it wouldn’t take the picture at first because I was to close so I had to back up a bit. For the second one i was trying to take a cropped shot with the headstone peeking into the picture and the camera auto focus didn’t know which one was the main subject so that’s why the background is slightly blurred but not as much as i would have liked it to be.
