I believe that this class heightened my fascination with poetry and the use of words. I enjoy hearing about how poems are translated to us in a wide variety of ways. My classmatesā interpretations of poems proved to me the true power of poetry. No matter what tools were utilized in the poem or the authorās intentions of specific words used, there are indefinite possibilities of what the poem means to others. So far, my favorite poem is āThe Sick Roseā. With such few lines, the poem has a strong message that can be viewed in so many different ways (as proven by our class discussion).

I agree I think I had forgotten just how much I loved poetry. And this.ass has been able to bring that love back. I love the discussions and the interpretations. I hope I can keep being so interested.
Poetry has been apart of my life as far back as i can remember. But, I never really had a course in which a poem was interperted so a larger extent. I agree with these students when they say that this course has helped them see what poetry truly is. This course has made me appreciate poetry a bit more.
