Hello my name is Abeni Chen, 19, and I transferred from Baruch College. I chose architecture as my major because I got influenced by my mom since she was also an architect. She currently works at China, and mostly design parks and do landscape designs. I liked to draw ever since I was small but stopped for a few years due to the lack of interest and time during high school years. But I started drawing again and this time I mostly do digital drawings on my tablet using Procreate. In my spare time, I like to read non-fictions usually psychology and history in english. And for fictions I mainly read detective/crime/mystery in chinese. I also like to play video games mainly competitive multiplayer games like LoL, Overwatch, Multiverse, and Valorant. Sometimes I also like to go to museum alone when I have the time and take photographs of the exhibition. I also like to watch action animes, some of my favorites include Demon Slayer, Attack of Titans, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures…etc. I am also in collecting including Supreme (Streetwear brand) accessories, Bearbricks, funko pops and Kpop albums. I also force myself to go to the gym on the mornings and the weekends.
My name is Taylor Acero. I am specializing in Architecture in Technology at City tech. I have many reasons why I chose this career to pursue, mainly due to my family background. I come from a family full of construction workers, and I even have a background in Construction as I have worked with my family. I’m not a big reader, but when I do decide to read (rarely). I prefer books specialized in the genre of Terror. I also read manga, recently I’ve been reading The Classroom of the elite light novel. I listen to Spanish music mainly, because I feel that the music is better, I’m not saying that I despise English music, I enjoy English music too, but I just want to say that Spanish music has more variety of rhythms and sounds. In my spare time, I play video games, work out at the gym, watch Random videos on YouTube, and enjoy walking outside.
Hello my name is Marcos Puebla and i chose architecture as my major cause growing up in NYC i would see buildings i liked and i would say i wanna make some of that when i get older feel me, but also another reason is cause i wanna build my moms and pops their own crib, that’s kinda one of the main reasons tbh. I don’t enjoy reading at all i just do it because i have to like homework or assignments, on my spare time and what i like to do for fun is to go to the gym, Sweatbox Brooklyn, put ya on pull up. Hi, my name is Kevin, I am 18 years old and I chose architecture after deciding that I wanted to do something much more than going to trade school for welding. I don’t really have any outside influence for wanting to major in architectural technology I’m just figuring it out as I go I guess. I do love art and drawing (despite not being too good at it) though. I love music and play guitar, both acoustic and electric; I study guitar theory in my spare time whenever I feel motivated but a lot of the time I’m learning new songs or making my own. I love bmx, metal, death metal or any type of rock genre, I actually learned how to do metal vocals on my own. I like anime but haven’t found anything good to watch. I also developed an addiction to energy drinks over the years. I like playing video games too but mainly rpgs, multiplayer or action games that I can play with friends. idk what else to say lol… I enjoy long walks on the beach and the occasional bouquet of roses.
Hey guys, my name is Nataly. I chose to do architecture mainly because I love interior design and many aesthetics of different buildings, houses etc.. Also because I met a women that is an interior designer and is a licensed architect, and showed me a little bit of what she did and I loved it. I would not say I love drawing and all of that, I don’t consider myself as a good drawing person but it’s something I used to do on my free time and don’t mind learning.
