Reponse 4 9/29

After reading the novel I feel Shelley showed how the human form is effected by there environmental stimulates throughout their lives. She shows many physiological issues that a person can face to mold them into an evil person. The monster was initial good at the start of his life but in the end he says “But it is even so; the fallen angel becomes a malignant devil.” It was because of the lack of human affection and companionship that he became the monster that everyone saw him to be externally. Humans are born impressionable and learn from their surrounding environments. The monster was rejected by everyone that he tried to create a bond with and it lead him to become a evil revengeful being. At the end of Victors life he reflected on what the monster was and realized he was to blame for the evils that had been committed but still knew the monster must die for his injustices. Both the monster and Victor felt a sense of remorse at the end because both ultimately were left with nothing.  The two were totally alone in the word and had no one to rely on and love. For any person to go through such tragedies it is understanding for them to become bitter and cold. Victor the creator and the monster at the end of the text are both effected by the world around them . They realize the bad they did and suffer for it.
