While in the process of creating and writing my op-ed I can actually say I have learned a lot. It’s crazy because I never knew exactly what a op-ed was but after understanding what it was, I realized I’ve been reading a lot of them on my phone when I come across news articles. I learned that op-eds are opinion based that are backed up by facts and this can be taken to future classes such as public speaking classes. This intense researcher made me able to not really focus on one website and actually keep my options open and be exposed to other sites and not only wikipedia .I truly enjoyed writing this assignment as it gave me a platform to put my voice in my own writing and actually be heard and felt to my readers.
