I am choosing to write a letter because I feel like it’s more personal towards the person who you are writing the letter to. I think this specific genre will help me with my argument because if the recipient of that letter was to read it, they would know how I feel about these issues within my discourse community. I feel like this letter isn’t really for a general audience, but more like meant for a specific person.
