Pick a Model & Organize Your Ideas

The topic I will be writing about is women as medical gaslighting victims. The model I have chosen for the essay is a speech. My justification for this is that letters send out the implication that one person or entity will view my message, whereas my message has the purpose of reaching a large community of medical professionals. Secondly, speeches use an approach to reach broader audiences and masses of people. Next letters, in my opinion, can result in perceptions of expressing emotions more personally. I want to develop a more informative and formal approach to assert the reality behind my discourse community’s dilemma. Finally, I want to stress the exigence behind a call to action because the problem is concerning and continues to demand urgent attention.

Alexis- I look forward to reading about this interesting topic. But right now you have only completed half of this weeks work. Where is the summary or outline of your speech? You free writing should have helped you generate material for this outline.
