The genre that I am writing in is a letter. I choose to write in a letter because it allows me to imagine I am in an immigrants point of view where they are dealing with serious problems and they want there problem solved by the mayor. I also found it easier to write a letter then a speech because I feel like if we can get this one person to really help then that is all we would need to get the problem solved. Wollstonecraft is similar to my writing because like how women were struggling for their right immigrants are struggling to be successful .They both want people to listen to them and help them.
