  • As a class, we will read and work with “Mother Tongue,” a personal narrative by Amy Tan.
  • I will provide copies of the reading in class so you do not need to print or download this one. We will be using the text to read, discuss, annotate, and write.

For Wednesday, 2/9

  • Print or download Trifles by Susan Glaspell
  • Read the play Trifles by Susan Glaspell
  • Come to class with your annotated text and prepared to use your annotations in a variety of discussion and writing activities.
