Week 6: Introducing Inquiry Based Research

Monday, 9/30

  • Unit 1 assignments (Education Narrative) Due by the end-of-day.
  • Tentative: Come to class prepared to write a short in-class reflection on writing Unit 1 
  • Reading/Writing Resource Essay: “Research Starts With a Thesis Statement” by Emily Wierszewski, pages 231- 235 in Bad Ideas About Writing  

Directions for submitting Unit 1:

To submit the assignment you should create a post that includes a link to your unit 1 narrative. Make sure the Google or Microsoft document link is set so that anyone with the link can edit.

Before publishing your post, make sure your title it “Unit 1” and you pick “Unit 1 Work” as a category, If you prefer, you can pick the private setting for your post so that only I see the final version of your narrative.
