Dear Professor Garcia 

Throughout the writing process of this narrative I have learned that as a writer I am very relaxed . I tend to write like I’m speaking to someone I know and  include  sarcastic phrases or jokes . I wonder how this is going to work out in writing assignments where I have to have a more serious or unbiased tone . I also saw how big of an impact my mothers accident really had on me . I knew it changed me but I never really had to go in depth and really look at how it changed me  . A really big resource I used for writing this essay were the free writes we did in class . I used a lot of the time to write down my feelings and thoughts about my experience , to describe my experience and all of this translated into my writing very well . The free writing allowed me to make my essay very detailed .Based on the grading criteria I believe I should get 75-80  because I believe my essay is interesting and clear and  I’m working really hard on it  to make it as good as I can for my own standards and the grading standards . I think I could work further on my wording .  I tend to second guess what I’m saying and either make it extremely simple that it doesn’t even sound fun to read , or I end up making it too complicated that it doesn’t really make sense and loses its point . To tie it all in together , I have learned a lot about my writing style and myself throughout the writing process of this essay . I see myself using free writing to help me brainstorm my next writing pieces and  I would love a good grade … please .
