Dear professor Garcia,

Writing this education narrative essay helped me learn about my strengths as a writer and as a learner. During the process of writing, we learn new things, we only make our writing better the more we practice it. Not everything will be perfect in the beginning because when we realize it we are able to learn from our mistakes and figure something new out. As a reviewer, I learned that reading somebody else’s paper while writing your own can influence you to write something better. We are able to learn from each other and get ideas to help us with our own writing. I used brainstorming to write this essay, it really helped me because I was able to write all my ideas down and then choose which ones I should write in my narrative and the ones I should leave out because they didn’t completely fit in. Based on the grading criteria, I think that my narrative deserves a good passing grade because I was able to express one of my personal experiences and make it into a lesson of realization. Something I want to work on further is my descriptive language so it catches more reader’s attention.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Salas Ortega
