Week 14 Agenda: Finalizing and Submitting Unit 3

For Monday, 11/27

Texts & Writing

Have a copy of Unit 3 for sharing and working on in class.

***For this class, we will meet in the computer lab, which is room G604.

For Wednesday, 11/29

For this class we will be visiting the “Americans and the Holocaust” exhibit in the Academic Building across the street from Jay St. To go into the exhibit, you will need to show your ID to Public Safety and also leave your coats and bags outside the exhibit space. If you have concerns about any of this, please speak with me on Monday and we will find an alternative assignment for you to complete.

“Americans and the Holocaust,” is an 1100-square-foot traveling exhibit sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM).   The City Tech Library was one out of 50 libraries in the country to be selected to host this traveling exhibition, which is open to the public and we have the opportunity to see. The exhibition examines how Americans reacted to Nazism, war, refugees, and genocide before, during, and after the Second World War.

For Friday, 12/1

Unit 3 assignments (Writing in a New Genre) are due

To submit the assignment, you should write a post that includes a link to your unit 3 assignment. Make sure the Google or Microsoft document link is set so that anyone with the link can edit.

Before publishing your post, make sure your title it “Unit 3” and you pick “Unit 3 Work” as a category, if you prefer, you can pick the private setting for your post so that only I see the final version of your narrative.
