Writing this narrative helped me remember my past and how I’ve come so far from the obstacles that Ive faced. Ive had a lot of people mentor me along the way and writing this piece made me remember all the people that have tried to help me along the way. Since my narrative ties into my life at the moment it made me think too about my career and the path Im on currently. Reading “shitty first drafts” didn’t really provide me with much help in writing my draft, I like to write everything at once and then refine the work as I go. I believe this form of drafting was mentioned in the story but its how I always go about writing. Its like getting a big piece of clay and then molding the clay into the piece you want. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xi7w2qt7aingoSkfmDJw-9bO0vQEAaVYPRVTgKlzVRQ/edit
