Reading: Writing That Works, Ch 6, Researching Your Subject

For today’s beginning of class writing assignment, write a summary memo of Writing That Works, Chapter 6, Researching Your Subject. In the content of your summary, focus on the strategies that the chapter proposes for research. In a separate paragraph, write a sentence or two about any kinds of research that you have done before: using library resources, citing passages from readings, collecting data with surveys, conducting interviews, or performing other research tasks. This latter part of today’s assignment will be useful to me as I design exercises that will help you with Project 2.
