Got the chance to go to do a couple of internships this week. Got some rejections which I promptly sent back thank you letters. I landed an internship at Lynn Ritchie, a small fashion company located in midtown Manhattan. It is a private company who’s primary business include tops and pants. Their customers are middle aged women, mostly hailing from the mid west in the United States. Because they deal mostly with boutiques they are not as well known as other brands.
Lynn Ritchie was funded in 1990 by Fashion Designer Lynn Caryn Ritchie. She sold the company to the coo of the company a couple of years back to pursue other things in her life. I will be part of the marketing team and I will be working with one of the main designers in helping with website maintenance and graphics for promotions.
