Communication

Communication is one of my core values because I have learned that expressing your ideas, or point of view, most of the time can de-escalate situations, or help others to better understand you. Instead of guessing a situation I always try to ask about it, so I can reach a solution or an agreement. Communication is essential to building better relationships and living a better life.

Communication is key for me to reach my goals. Being able to properly communicate will help me establish better connections that will lead me to accomplish my goals in life.

My name is Gianlucca, I’m from Asuncion, Paraguay, and I’ve been living in the United States for the last 5 years, I’m majoring in Emerging Media Technologies, with a concentration on Game Design, this is my first year at City Tech. I’ve lived in Paraguay for 20 years so English is my second language. I’m passionate about designing and developing games, I dedicated some of my free time to creating videogame prototypes. My name is Jasmine. Although I’d prefer everyone call me Jas!

I’m a re-admitted student here at City Tech. I am trying to obtain my AS in Fashion Business and Marketing to then go to FIT and get my masters in sports fashion marketing.

Apart from my studies I enjoy watching basketball and what Kyrie Irving does on and off the court, so if you catch me on my phone from time to time its because Bleacher report and the Nba app is letting me know what the stats are. HAHA! I’m also a mom to a beautiful little boy who will be 8 years old on Jan 27th.

Currently I work full-time at FedEx doing customer relations about packages which after awhile can be pretty annoying.

I’m taking this class to better my English skills for my major and my lifestyle.
